In a collaboration with Olla Homeware by Jade Sims, I'm so excited to bring you some very special ceramic pieces for the new year. Each piece has been carefully crafted, fired, and decorated for a unique piece that will last for years and years to come. We first worked together when we were at the Cardiff School of Art and Design together, and these latest pieces marry together Jade's skilful ceramics with my illustrations.
The cup is approximately 10x10cm and has a lovely shape with a creamy speckled nutmeg glaze on the top, overlaid with a tiny row of bunting illustrations, and a banana yellow glaze on the bottom. The texture is particularly lovely, and the sturdy shape allows you to drink with ease, or use as an ornament. As they were made by a real lovely human, Jade, each ornament is unique and so the pattern and colour on each is subtly different, and the shape is organic, having been crafted by human hands. Because of how special this item is, it will need handwashing.
Each item is wrapped up in recycled packaging material, including recycled packing peanuts and bubblewrap to ensure safe transit. These items can be gift wrapped if you wish it to be sent directly to the recipient, and I have other cards and decorations available, and if you have any queries please don't hesitate to ask!
