Food and cooking is, to me, one of life’s great pleasures and one that I enjoy as often as I can. I believe that by understanding the connection we have to the land that produces what we put in our mouths, we can understand better as humans what it is to live.

Food illustration was the underpinning to my third year of study at the Cardiff School of Art and Design and I had great fun with a variety of projects that let me doodle, print and draw with food. The inspirational Mariko Jesse and Renato Guttuso guided my work
